World’s Elk Grove Terminal
Group Delta, an NV5 Company, provided PFAS services for the soil, stormwater, and groundwater investigation at World’s Elk Grove Terminal (EGT). Our team assisted Paramount in maintaining compliance with the State Water Resources Control Boards’ Order to investigate per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at the EGT. The project is ongoing and involves the identification of all sources of PFAS containing materials at the EGT, PFAS fate and transport, PFAS sampling and analysis plan, and identification of potential sensitive receptors.
Added Value
- Regulatory Compliance Expertise: Our team supported Paramount in meeting State Water Resources Control Board directives by developing and executing a PFAS investigation strategy tailored to EGT’s operational footprint.
- Comprehensive Environmental Assessment: Our team delivered soil, stormwater, and groundwater investigations to identify PFAS sources, assess contaminant fate and transport, and evaluate potential exposure risks.
- Sensitive Receptor Protection: Our team implemented a targeted sampling and analysis plan to identify and mitigate risks to nearby sensitive receptors, ensuring environmental and public health safeguards.
