Group Delta, an NV5 company, is providing geotechnical and environmental services for the Drought Response Outreach Program for Schools (DROPS) site improvements project, which focuses on sustainable stormwater management and campus infrastructure upgrades. The project includes the installation of site-wide piping to collect stormwater runoff and direct it into five perforated infiltration systems, helping to reduce surface runoff and support groundwater recharge. As part of the site enhancements, approximately 250,000 square feet of slab-on-grade concrete and 81,000 square feet of landscaped areas are being constructed, along with a 433-square-foot concrete structure. Our team is delivering geotechnical design and engineering recommendations to ensure the long-term stability and performance of these improvements. Additionally, our team is conducting environmental and materials testing services, including inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and steel. Continuous testing and inspection are also being performed for the construction of a new student store and canopy structures for lunch and faculty areas, ensuring quality assurance and compliance throughout the project.
