SANDAG LOSSAN Corridor Improvements

The LOSSAN Corridor spans 351 miles, connecting Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Luis Obispo. The San Diego segment alone covers 60 miles, passing through six cities and multiple coastal lagoons.

As subconsultant to RailPros, Group Delta, an NV5 Company, provided a geotechnical peer review on 4 bridges along LOSSAN Corridor: Eastbrook to Shell, Batiquitos Lagoon Double Track, San Dieguito Double Track, and Sorrento to Miramar Phase 2. The review included project plans, specifications, cost estimates calculations and reports at 60%, 90% and 100% design level. The project design is based on American Railway Engineering and Maintenance Association (AREMA) and LOSSAN Rail Corridor Design Criteria.
