This $2B progressive design-build project is a major mixed-use 85-acre project that will redevelop the former Qualcomm Stadium site in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. The site will become the new extension of the San Diego State University campus and includes a new 40,000-seat football stadium, new mid-rise student housing, university classroom and research facilities, underground parking, hotels, retail, and a river park with various sports fields.
Group Delta, an NV5 Company, is performing multiple geotechnical investigations and laboratory testing of the on-site soils to prepare design geotechnical reports for the new stadium as well as the remaining site improvements. Our team is also providing environmental consulting services.
Construction is estimated to be completed in 2029.
