The $7M Mesa Housing Pedestrian and Bike Bridge will consist of three spans for a total length of 465 feet and will provide access across the Central Canyon between Medical Center Drive and Miramar Street in the renovated Mesa Housing area. Together with the Gilman Drive Bridge across Interstate 5, these two bridges will provide a direct route for pedestrians and bicyclists between the West Campus and the East Campus Neighborhood.

Group Delta provided a design geotechnical report for the project that included drilling deep exploratory borings in a rugged canyon with significant biological habitat constraints, as- needed design phase consulting to the Design team, environmental contaminant testing of soil samples, and construction observation and testing services.
